A little levity . . .

As part of FPG's standard of hosting we always ask our headliners if they have any medical issues we need to know about.

Here is Murv's response:

"Dorothy Morrison is really old and needs help getting around. Kristin Madden can be kind of a pain too because she wants everything Dorothy gets. So, wheelchairs might be in order for those two. As for me, well, I'm all good."

Guardians of the Community

Guardians strive to provide a safe atmosphere for our community. We come from the community. We serve the community. We are charged by the community to provide safety and comfort for the duration of the festival. We lend a hand and a back and we provide first aid services from band-aids to beyond. Guardians are required to be First Aid and CPR/AED trained. Our team is diverse and provides many varieties of services needed by our community. Guardians are chameleon-like. We work together to get the job done often unbeknownst to many. We spend our time visiting with our community; we want to know how your festival experience is going. We try to ensure a pleasant experience and offer help with any problems that may arise. If you have any questions of us or about us, please feel free to ask.

The generous donations from the community along with monies collected from the silent auction and 50-50 raffle go to replenishing medical supplies, continuing education classes, and books for the Guardians. The purchase of an AED is in the very near future. These purchases would not be possible if not for the historic and continuing generosity of our community. We owe much thanks to our community. We are honored to be a part of and serve our community.

  A Note from a First Timer . . .

Hello. I am new to the group and I can honestly say I thought the FPG was amazing. I have no complaints. I found the whole weekend completely invigorating, it was what I needed to ground myself again. It takes tremendous planning and a lot of work to put a festival like that together. I have been to other festivals in Massachusetts were I am from and they did not even come close to matching this one. So from me personally I thank you for a great weekend and creating a pagan Disney land, lol. I am counting down the days till Samhain.
